SHIS（シス）

鹿児島県奄美大島出身。東京を拠点に活動。

専門学校卒業後、動画配信・EC・メディア・モバイルゲームなどのWEBサービス事業に従事したのち、創作活動へ転向。
ペインティング、ドローイング、映像、粘土などを用いて、自分のなかにある心地よさの感覚をたよりに、線や形、配色を探りながら制作する。
柔らかな曲線を帯びたフォルムを「細胞」と捉え、それらが連なり影響し合う様子を抽象的な形として描いている。

After graduating from vocational school, SHIS worked in web-based services across video streaming, e-commerce, digital media, and mobile gaming before turning to artistic practice.
Working across painting, drawing, video, clay, and other media, the practice is guided by a personal sense of comfort, exploring lines, forms, and color combinations. Softly curved forms are conceived as “cells,” taking shape as abstract forms that connect and influence one another.
